When it’s the Woodward Dream Cruise week in the Detroit Area, when the brains of all good car-lovers are filled with the sounds and smells of engines, the best way to garner attention at a business meeting is to include an employee car show…and the best part of the meeting is outside, where coworkers share their passions! At least that is what the folks from GM’s Global RWD group thought!

Not to be outdone, GM Performance and Motorsports also held their all-employee meeting, and invited Indy driver Marco Andretti to join them. He was introduced by Jim Campbell, US vice president of Performance Vehicles and Motorsports for General Motors.

Groups like Corvettes on Woodward, Impala SS Club, and Raytheon toured the facility. Automotive writers and members of the media came, too, and brought their rides! Even NASCAR driver Jeff Gordon took time from his busy schedule for a quick lap around the Heritage Center showroom! A busy week at the facility, but a true celebration!
