The highlight of the month of March is St. Patrick’s Day, especially for those with Irish heritage. It was a perfect time to get a call from the Irish Rovers, an iconic and well-known Irish band. The Rovers were performing at the Macomb Center for Performing Arts in Clinton Township, a suburb of Detroit not far from the Heritage Center. Hamish Burgess, the band’s photographer, radio show host and a vintage-car lover, wanted to see the collection. He chronicles the band’s travel with sights from each performance locale. Northing screams DETROIT like the GM Heritage Center! See Hamish’s images on the Irish Rovers’ Facebook page.
