The elegant affair was hosted by Mark and Kim Reuss, Bud and Melissa Denker, Helio Castroneves and Adriana Henao, and Jim Campbell. Mark Reuss is GM executive vice president of Global Product Development, Purchasing and Supply Chain; Bud Denker is the chairman of the Chevrolet Detroit Belle Isle Grand Prix; Castroneves is a three-time Indianapolis 500 winner who also won the second Chevrolet Indy Dual in Detroit presented by Quicken Loans in 2014, and Campbell is GM’s U.S. vice president of Performance Vehicles and Motorsports.

Lear Corporation placed the winning bid for the dinner at the Grand Prixmiere, an event held in June on the eve of the 2014 Chevrolet Detroit Belle Isle Grand Prix, for the opportunity to dine with the hosts. A Chevrolet-powered IndyCar, like the one driven by Castroneves, was displayed on the Heritage Center show room floor for the evening, along with the Manufacturers Cup won by Chevrolet, and the cache of other Grand Prix trophies won by Chevy drivers throughout the 2014 season.

The chic décor and sophisticated menu and wine pairings were executed by Andiamo, a preferred caterer with the GM Heritage Center and the Chevrolet Detroit Belle Isle Grand Prix.
